Biography:

Uchiha Itachi is a prominent character from the *Naruto* anime and manga series, first appearing in Naruto Volume 4, Chapter 35.

He is portrayed as a complex figure, initially presented as a cold-blooded murderer who annihilated his entire clan, sparing only his younger brother, Sasuke. Itachi joins the Akatsuki, a criminal organization, and becomes a significant antagonist.

As the story progresses, Itachi's true motivations are revealed. He acted on the orders of Konoha's leadership to prevent a coup d'état by the Uchiha clan, a decision that would have plunged the Hidden Leaf Village into civil war. He bore the burden of being branded a traitor to protect Sasuke and maintain peace. His actions were shrouded in secrecy, leading Sasuke to seek revenge for years.
